"powerful & inspiring. impacted me enormously"
"very moving - I felt so close to the narrators - the darkness made me focus on the stories and how they made me feel"
"so wonderful to reflect on our common humanity and common courage, even though our lives may be different in many ways"

Light At The End... presents a genuine insight into humanity through a mesmerising and celebratory performance.

It is an immersive, powerful experience performed in an intimate and unconventional theatre space and is designed to be replicated in different towns.  In the dark, dank and raw environment of an old tunnel under a train line, stories of light and strength are revealed by the performers - five local refugees and one refugee advocate.

Light At The End... was first commissioned by the 24 Hour Experience in Ballarat in 2015 where Rose collaborated with  Ballarat Rural Australians for Refugees.  It has subsequently been performed at the Castlemaine State Festival (March 2017) and in Bendigo at the Zinda Festival supported by the Loddon Campaspe Multicultural Services. (March 2018)

This is a low tech production. The only equipment brought into the space is seating and wireless headphones for the audience.  The only light used is natural daylight coming in at the end of the tunnel.  Shows are always performed during daylight hours.
