In her role as Letter Writing Wrangler, Rose offers seasonal handwritten letters to anyone who requests them. If you would like to receive a letter this summer (2025-2026), please write to us.
Letter Writing LoungeS
These public events offer a quiet space where people are invited to write letters to anyone - family, friends, politicians, political prisoners, pop stars, etc. Rose provides a supportive (and slightly comedic/slightly performative) presence sitting at her Letter Writer Wrangler desk offering services ranging from useful (spelling/grammar advice) to useless. Local guests including musicians/writers may also be present.
B.R.A.N.C.H. O.F. M.E.
A new adventurous branch of the Bureau which offers handwritten letters to people who are living with medium to severe M.E (chronic fatigue).
